Stephen Briggs preached on the final morning of our 2014 youth conference on the eternal purpose of God as revealed in the bible.
Reaching the lost, equipping the Saints
Hear the testimony of Peter Hockley who grew up in a household without religion. Dissatisfied with life and unable to find any lasting happiness in the world around him, his emptiness led to a search for spiritual meaning.
At the age of twenty-one, Peter wanders through the religion section of the local bookstore, looking for answers.
One book stands out among all others: An author who claims his written messages to the spirit world are answered by an invisible entity that takes control of his mind and body; an entity that calls itself “God”.
Reading the entire book in one night, the young man is captivated by every word. Only one question remains: How can he know the truth? Taking a pen and paper, the man writes his own letter and is amazed when “God” responds.

On Thursday 24th July 2014 we opened our 2014 Youth Conference with a TED talks style event where we had seven speakers each speak for around 15 mins on each day of creation.
These GOD TALKS session were all filmed and are now available for you to watch from our website and will eventually be available on the App.
The recording is in two parts with days 1 and 2 of creation in the first video while days 3-7 in a second video.
We plan on turning these into one edited video with slides included at a later stage.
Do you want to hear GOD TALK to you? Are you 11-18yrs old and want to more about God, join us for our first ever youth conference.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”
The conference will directly tackle some of the big questions young people want to ask: Did the creation story really happen? What does the Bible really have to teach me in today’s world, isn’t it outdated? What does having a relationship/walk with God really mean? Why is it so hard to be consistent in the Christian life as a teenager?
