Genesis 24
Dear friends what a chapter!
Genesis 24:1 We pray today that The Lord will give us a tireless faith. Ask Him to help you to walk unflaggingly with Him for the rest of your lifetime. Ask Him to preserve your faith and make it fresh and dynamic for all your years.
Genesis 24:9 Let us agree today as we move forward in 2014 asking God to give us the willingness and strength to be a faithful workers. Ask Him to guide those who have positions over your life as employers, teachers, spiritual leaders or whatever form of leadership you have to be under as they assign task for you.
Genesis 24:12-14 I read this prayer in the NLT today and it just gripped me. Wow! Submit the tasks of your day to God before you begin them. Ask Him to guide you in even the smallest details.
Genesis 24:34-41 As this is the year of completion, ask The Lord to help you to see the bigger picture of your life in the landscape often crowded with busyness and noise. Ask The Lord to remind you of His perspective, which is much wiser and wider than yours. I just know you are going to be blessed more than you can imagine.
Genesis 24:48-49 It is just amazing that you all will be reading this email and responding to the sovereignty of God’s Word and opening your heart to His supernatural power which will bring incredible change. Bow your head and worship The Lord, praising Him for leading you step-by-step and ask Him for the continual ability to hear His voice.
Genesis 24:58 Father, this morning I marvel at Rebekah as she says, “Yes, I will go,” I confess that I’m much more likely to hesitate and make excuses when you tell me to act. I ask Your forgiveness, in Jesus name.
Genesis 24:67 Take a moment to think of someone who has been a comfort to you. Say a prayer of thanksgiving for that person.
Matthew 16:1 to 17:21
Matthew 16:1-4 Jesus may my eyes and ears be so open to see and hear You that I don’t need miracles or special revelations to know Your holy presence in my heart.
Matthew 16:5-12 Pray that the Word of God will so permeate your heart and mind that you will recognise and discern hypocritical and erroneous teaching when you hear it.
Matthew 16:16 Dear Jesus, with Peter I openly acknowledge that you are a Messiah, the Christ, the Son of the living God. I’m awed that You are my Saviour, and I love You.
Matthew 16:23 Pray that you learn, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to see things from God’s heavenly perspective rather than from your own very human point of view.
Matthew 16:24-28 Say a of dedication, offering control and ownership of your own life to Jesus Christ to use as He sees fit.
