Daniel 1
Daniel 1:1 Lord, I praise You because everything You say will happen does happen, just as Your Words about Nebuchadnezzar came true.
Daniel 1:4 Lord, I pray for strength and health to be in our lives. Help us Lord to become well versed in many areas of learning, gifted with knowledge and good sense, and have the poise needed to effectively serve You, my King.
Daniel 1:8 God, I want to honour You with every aspect of my life, including the foods and substances I put into my body. Give me wisdom to know what is good and what is harmful, physically and spiritually.
Daniel 1:20 Lord God, please give me wisdom and balanced judgement, as You did Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.
Daniel 2
Daniel 2:1 Father, when I can’t sleep, turn my thoughts and prayers to You.
Daniel 2:11 Mighty God, I praise You because You are not like the so-called gods of the Babylonians. I praise You because You are alive and live in me.
Daniel 2:14 Lord, help me to handle threatening and difficult situations with wisdom and discretion.
Daniel 2:19 God, as servants of Christ, You have put us in charge of explaining Your secrets (1 Corinthians 4:1), make me a faithful witness.
Daniel 2:20-22 I praise Your name, El Shaddai, forever and ever, for You alone have all wisdom and power. You control world events and give wisdom and strength to those who ask You.
Daniel 2:30 Lord, any wisdom I have comes from You; help me to honour You as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
Daniel 2:37 God of heaven, even as we pray for success in things we do. Give us the constant awareness that our success comes from You.
2:44 Thank You, Lord, for making me part of a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed (Hebrews 12:28).
Daniel 2:46 Lord, may we bow and worship the True and Living God. Offer Him your sacrifice of praise. Affirm the glory of His Name (Hebrews 13:15).

Ecclesiastes 6:9 Heavenly Father, I want to enjoy what I have rather than to desire what I don’t have. Teach me to be truly content with and constantly thankful for all that You have given me.

John 6:63 Confess your tendency to try to please God and become “spiritual” through your human efforts. Rest in the knowledge that you only need to partake of the living bread.
John 6:68-69 Lord Jesus, so many of Your words seem difficult to understand and difficult to live. And yet, Jesus, there is no one who offers the life and light You do, who else could we go to? Lord I thank You for being You! My flesh shall not lead me to any other source, You have the words of eternal life.
