“WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST”
Reflections from Sunday 15th July Message

Since I am in CHRIST, by the grace of GOD... I have been justified -completely forgiven and made righteous.
By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us--set us right with him, make us fit for him--we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus.( Romans 5:1 MSG) 

I died with CHRIST and died to the power of sin's rule over my life.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. ( Romans 6: 1- 6)

I am free forever from condemnation
With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ's being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. ( Romans 8:1 MSG)

I have been placed into CHRIST by GOD's doing.
 Everything that we have--right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start--comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 1:30 MSG)

I have received the SPIRIT of GOD into my life that I might know the things freely given to me by GOD.
But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.(1 Cor. 2:12) 

I have been given the mind of CHRIST.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ. ( 1 Cor. 2:16 )

I have been bought with a price; I am not my own ; I belong to GOD.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Cor. 6:19-20)

I have been established, anointed and sealed by GOD in CHRIST, and I have been given the HOLY SPIRIT as a pledge guaranteeing my inheritance to come.
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; (2 Cor. 1:21)
 
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (Eph 1:13-14)

Since I have died, I no longer live for myself, but for CHRIST.
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. (2 Cor. 5: 15-16)

I have been made righteous.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
(2 Cor. 5: 21)

I have been crucified with CHRIST and it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST lives in me. The life I am now living is CHRIST's life.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. ( Gal 2:20)

I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: ( Eph 1: 3)

I was chosen in CHRIST before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before him.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:(Eph 1:4)

I was predestined--determined by GOD--to be adopted as GOD's son.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, ( Eph 1: 5)

I have been redeemed and forgiven, and I am a recipient of His lavish grace. I have been made alive together with CHRIST.
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) ( Eph.2: 5)

I have been raised up and seated with CHRIST in heaven.
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus ( Eph. 2:6)

I have direct access to GOD through the SPIRIT.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.(Eph. 2: 18)

I may approach GOD with boldness, freedom and confidence.
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (Eph. 3:12)

I have been rescued from the domain of Satan's rule and transferred to the kingdom of CHRIST.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: ( Col. 1:13)

I have been redeemed and forgiven of a all my sins. The debt against me has been cancelled.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Col. 1:14)

CHRIST Himself is in me.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: ( Col. 1:27)

I am firmly rooted in CHRIST and now being built in Him.
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
(Col. 2:7)

I have been spiritually circumcised . My old unregenerate nature has been removed.
 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Col. 3: 1- 4)

I have been made complete in CHRIST.
For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; (Col. 2:1)

I have been buried , risen and made alive with CHRIST.
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; (Col. 2: 12, 13)

I have died with CHRIST and I have been raised up with CHRIST. My life is now hidden with CHRIST in GOD. CHRIST is now my life.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. ( Col. 3: 1 - 4)

I have been given a spirit of power, love and self discipline.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

I have been saved and set apart according to GOD'S doing.
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (2Timothy 1:9)

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Titus 3:5)

Because I am sanctified and am one with the sanctifier, HE is not ashamed to call me brother.
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, (Hebrews 2:11)

I have the right to come boldly before the throne of GOD to find mercy and grace in time of need.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

I have been given exceedingly great and precious promises by GOD by which I am a partaker of GOD'S divine nature
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ( 2 Peter 1:4).
