Col. 1 vs 27 (Part 1)

MY brethren, we indeed need to be adoringly and continually blessing our heavenly Father and Benefactor who has so thoughtfully and graciously given us a much needed and timely reference-point, so that we don’t repeat the tragic mistake made by our predecessors in the wilderness during the time of leader Moses. In this our crucial season of NEW BEGINNING, history is about to repeat itself in our own time, though in a spiritual context this time, but surely with exactly the same momentous result:  which is either gain, or loss, of the PROMISE LAND. 

It was at this time a couple of thousands of years ago that the LORD GOD commanded our pilgrimage predecessors to move in and take hold of their promised possessions as it was already theirs for the taking, having been so declared by the LORD, (as He is doing right now!). 

Instead of taking the cue and responding accordingly, they resorted to making Plan B…They decided to improve on the LORD’S instruction, synthesizing and analysing, until the whole nation ended up in paralysis.  Out of a whole generation, only TWO made it into the Promise land!  Why?  Because the spies unnecessarily sent out to spy the land, except for two, Joshua and Caleb, came back with debilitating reports of Anakims…Amalekites…the Hittites…the Jebusites…the Amorites…and the Canaanites, which tragically demoralized the people.

This massive tragedy and subsequently glaring, appalling flop and failure of the age that followed must have touched the LORD GOD so deeply to the very core that He finally decided to adopt a super sovereign strategy that overtook the very Angels of heaven and prophets, challenging the very entirety of creation as a top priority-case, and for supremacy, (1 Peter 1 vs 9 – 12).  Until the very last earthly messenger that ended up with John the Baptist.  

The Heavenly Boss and Master had all the time been chauffeur-driven, but as a result of the huge scale of incessant miscarriages, disappointments, and losses, He finally decided to scrap the chauffeur-partnership business, (Heb. 8 vs 7 – 9), and took the wheel in His own bare hands, just to ensure there was no more messing around, taking it all under His stride!  Little wonder, one could almost hear Him snap out under His breath: “All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers…!” (John 10 v 8).

That was why the MAJESTY ON HIGH, WHO ALONE REIGNS SUPREME, THE   HIGH AND LOFTY ONE WHO INHABITS ETERNITY, THE ONLY SINGULAR ENTITICAL BEING THAT ANSWERS TO ALL THE ACRONYMS OF PLURALITY, THE VERY AND ONLY DARLING OF HEAVEN!... had to abandon all the Angelic endearment and adorations amidst the glory and splendour of  celestial dominion  to come down to this earthy, dusty existence of ours only to experience and endure the stench and squalor of deprivation and poverty, to finally finish off with the very worst of the brutish depravity and crudity of fallen man!

The Outcome?   An amazing wonder of all wonders!

The Master Himself Contriving To Reside In You And I – An Unfailing Hope Of Glory!!!

Therefore My brother, my sister, WHATEVER it is; whatever situation, whatever challenge you are facing, (even as the writer is having his own share), or dealings with, be it the ‘Anakims’ of your work department, or the ‘Amalekites’ of your family, or the ‘sites’ and ‘tites’ of witchcrafts, parasites and liquidators. REMEMBER it’s no more you now who is at the driving-seat?  It is the very MASTER OF THE STORM Himself who had sworn, under dint and grit to have it all His way, in whose book the word f-a-i-l-u-r-e is totally an alien; not even the desperadoes of the very pit of hell dare approach when He does His own thing!               

Look no more now through your own eyes, for if you do, you will continue to see yourself as grasshoppers. Begin now to look through the eyes, and audacity of faith of HIM who is in charge now, and you will find that your so-called adversaries are nothing but mere PAPER-TIGERS!!! All the enemy lives to do, is just to distract your attention!
